Dating to the 1850’s, this “classic, double pen, dogtrot” log cabin was the original Pope family home place and sits on the its original site and on its original stone pillars. It was restored and renovated in 2003-2004 and required four workers 13 months to complete.
The two air-conditioned rooms with large ensuite bathrooms, heart pine floors, and mortise and tenon window sashes sleep four guests each. The front to rear dogtrot and full length front porch provide inviting space to relax and enjoy the swings, lounge chairs and fresh country air.
