Once upon a chilly Saturday in December, we had the sweetest bride and groom say their "I Do's" at Twin Oaks Farm Weddings. Chilly is the key word here. Y'all, confession -- sometimes I don't handle cold weather well. I just HATE being cold! If I'm cold - I can't get it off my mind to focus on anything else. I try really hard to overcompensate with extra layers of clothing though. Well needless to say, the temps on Ashley and Jordan's wedding day were true to Winter and a BIT on the nippy side. Brrrr! However, I have a strong admiration for Ashley as a bride. She did not let the weather affect her mood, energy, or enthusiasm. It may sound cliche to say, but it is true that her personality "warms" the room.
Ashley and Jordan held their ceremony at our romantic Pecan Tree ceremony site and then hosted their reception in our Grand Barn. With former experience working at a florist, Ashley led the decorating efforts and floral designs with help from former colleagues and her bridesmaids. I just love how it all came together! All the the decorations were romantic, wintery, and elegant.
We send our congratulations to these Winter newlyweds and are grateful that they chose Twin Oaks Farm for their special day!
