*sigh* Isn't this picture dreamy?!? This couple is just too cute for words.
Libby's mom contacted me almost a year before their wedding date to inquire about our venue. I remember exactly where I was sitting and what I was doing because the call was so memorable. She was kind. She was energetic. She was in her daughter's corner working on behalf of the bride's wishes (not the MOB's wishes). Needless to say, I liked this couple and family before I ever met them.
The bride, Libby, is really really smart and beautiful. She's also humorous, light-hearted, gracious, and has a warmth about her. Alex's personality compliments Libby's to make them quite the super duo.
A little backstory on the wedding day: It was cold. Like really, realllllly cold. The couple made the smart decision to move the ceremony indoors to the Grand Barn, which was the right move. The interior of our Grand Barn is so beautiful, it didn't take away from the elegance of the wedding ceremony one bit. I vividly remember standing outside the barn doors as Libby approached to walk down the aisle, and she was full body shivering, even in her gorgeous white fur stole. I just wanted to grab her and put her inside my peacoat! Ha! But the moment she hit that door opening to walk inside, she shook the shivers and looked like a top-class model walking down the aisle. I was so impressed. I still am!
The pictures capture every bit of grace and light that Libby brings to her friends and family. Vue Photography did an amazing job capturing this couple and their special day! And if you didn't catch their wedding video by Small-Town Films earlier on the blog, be sure to check that out here!
