Our handsome Hospitality Barn is a multi-function space that serves as a "central hub" for wedding parties on wedding weekends. The Hospitality Barn hosts rehearsal dinners, serves as a hangout for groomsmen on the wedding day, and offers lodging for 8 in the finished loft. Recently, we've started offering events and retreat opportunities outside of the realm of weddings, and this barn is perfect for gatherings for 10-75 people - trainings, corporate functions, reunions, anniversary parties - you name it!
This building is young in age due to a fire in the original barn in 2008. Thus, the "new guy" (I like to give the buildings personas, if you haven't figured that out by now) was constructed in 2009 to replace the original. I can only imagine the stories and history that the "old guy" barn could tell! It was originally located across the road from the Log Cabin and was used for housing and feeding livestock. In 2004, the owners converted the original barn into living and entertainment space. When the rebuild took place, the same roof pitch and footprint was followed.
The interior of the Hospitality Barn features wall to wall paneling of Eastern White Pine, sourced from Maine, and beautifully stained concrete floors. The lower level houses a serving kitchen with Corian countertops, a discrete caterer's entrance, large pantry, 2 full bathrooms, leather seating, a TV, and the common area that can be suited with tables and chairs for dining. There's a spiral staircase that goes to the second floor lodging area, which sleeps 8 guests. The second level has a beautiful balcony porch on the North end and a sitting porch on the South end with patio furniture plus an outdoor staircase access. The view from this patio table on the second level is one of my favorite views on the property!
